.
We started our farm in an effort to get back to our roots.  The attraction to a simpler, healthier
lifestyle goes back more than one generation on both sides of our family tree.  We are David
and Joanna, with two children, Ben and Tori.

David grew up on a homesteading farm in Central Massachusetts. They raised most of the
family's food supply out of economic necessity.  Joanna's family comes from a large farm in
northern Maine.  The earthy smells of a barn and the ethics of honest, hard work that meet a
common need were memories and character traits we hoped to instill in our children.  Thus our
farm was born.
We are nestled in the rolling hills of North Central Massachusetts, well off the beaten path,
surrounded by beautiful white birch and abundant wildlife.

We began with raising our own pigs, turkeys, and chickens for meat and eggs. After careful
consideration, we settled on Nigerian Dwarf Goats to meet our dairy needs.  They quickly
became family favorites.  Not only do they provide us with milk and milk products without a lot of
labor, their docile nature and perky personalities won our hearts as family pets.  We decided to
breed, and the rest is history.....

Spring is the time of year for new arrivals on the farm.  If you are looking to purchase goats be
sure to go to our For Sale page and see what we have available.  We sell quality animals for
show, milking, 4H, or simply as pets.
